Exploring the links between climate change, air quality and health
Description
Join Public Policy Projects (PPP) for the fourth event of the Environment and Health series entitled ‘Exploring the links between climate change, air quality and health’ on Wednesday 14th July 8:00–9:00am BST.
Deputy Chair of PPP, Seb Dance, will be joined by Dr Maria Neira, Director, Public Health, Environmental and Social Determinants of Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) and Professor Sir Stephen Holgate, UKRI clean air Champion and Special advisor on air quality for the Royal College of Physicians to discuss how does climate change exacerbates air pollution and how does this effect human health.
This programme of work focuses on the link between our natural environment and our health. We believe that understanding and explaining that link is vital in appreciating the full impact of climate change on our individual health as well as collective public health systems.
This is an open event, everyone interested in climate change, air quality and health is welcome to attend. Please extend this invitation to other interested parties in your organisation or wider network.
