Covid19: Accelerating the use of digital technology in healthcare

As this crisis impacts every part of the health sector, significant vulnerabilities are being exposed. The NHS ‘digital revolution’ has long been touted as the key to futureproofing our health service in the face of increasing patient demand. That demand has now reached a level that our worst estimations never thought possible. Clearly, there is significant scope to utilise the breathless level of digital innovation to help our health and care staff save lives.
