This event will bring together <a href=\"https:\/\/members.parliament.uk\/member\/4444\/career#:~:text=Karin%20Smyth%20is%20the%20Labour%20MP%20for%20Bristol,of%20Karin%20Smyth%2C%20including%20posts%20and%20roles%20held.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">K<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/members.parliament.uk\/member\/4444\/career#:~:text=Karin%20Smyth%20is%20the%20Labour%20MP%20for%20Bristol,of%20Karin%20Smyth%2C%20including%20posts%20and%20roles%20held.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arin Smyth MP, Minister of State for Health<\/a> as keynote speaker, and esteemed experts from the \ufb01elds of clinical academia and healthcare education to engage in important discussions on the future of these sectors.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s conference will feature an array of distinguished speakers who are shaping the future of clinical academia and healthcare education. One of the key highlights will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jessica-corner-b27326186\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Dame Jessica Corner<\/a>, Executive Chair of Research England at UKRI, who will share crucial insights and recommendations stemming from the clinical academic workforce task and \ufb01nish Group. Her presentation will focus on how we can best support clinical academics in the evolving healthcare landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rob-stroud-77611345\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rob Stroud<\/a>, Director of Assessment Services and Access to Higher Education at the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, will provide an in-depth overview of recent changes to the Nursing and Midwifery Council\u2019s (NMC) education quality assurance process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/elizabeth-fenton-obe-52915a101\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elizabeth Fenton OBE<\/a>, Director of Nursing and Midwifery at NHS England, will discuss the \ufb01ndings of the educator survey.
