{"id":5838,"date":"2025-01-15T16:08:57","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T16:08:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/integratedcarejournal.com\/?p=5838"},"modified":"2025-01-15T17:42:20","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T17:42:20","slug":"nominations-open-our-health-heroes-awards-skills-for-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/integratedcarejournal.com\/nominations-open-our-health-heroes-awards-skills-for-health\/","title":{"rendered":"Nominations open for Our Health Heroes Awards 2025, delivered by Skills for Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Supported by NHS England, NHS Employers, NHS Shared Business Services, NHS Race &amp; Health Observatory and Integrated Care Journal, Our Health Heroes celebrates the wider healthcare workforce that supports NHS doctors and nurses on the frontline.<\/p>\n<p>From porters and cleaners to receptionists, gardeners and security guards, these often unsung heroes make up roughly 40 per cent of the NHS\u2019s million strong workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Our Health Heroes Awards is a national celebration of their achievements and an opportunity to give thanks for the important role that they play in keeping the health service functioning.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Health Heroes Awards 2025 categories:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Individual awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical Support Worker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Operational Support Worker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Lifetime Contribution to Healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Apprentice of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare Volunteer of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best Healthcare Workforce Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Dedication to a Lifelong Learning Culture<\/li>\n<li>Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Champion<\/li>\n<li>Digital Innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nominations close at midday on <strong>Tuesday 4 March<\/strong>.
