The health and care system in England is responsible for an estimated 4-5 per cent of the country\u2019s carbon footprint. Through the campaign \u201cFor a greener NHS,\u201d the NHS committed to reaching net-zero as soon as possible \u2013 aiming to be the world\u2019s first \u2018net-zero\u2019 national health service.
